+1 As it is now, stinger transitions only begin after the media is completed, which leaves an awkward last frame of the media frozen on screen for a moment (especially visible when using alpha transparency in the stinger). It would look much better if the stinger could be triggered a second or two before the media ends.

It sounds like the upcoming OnPlaybackTime trigger will solve this. Can't confirm until vMix 28 is available for testing, but it appears that we'll be able to trigger actions (like transition stingers) at specific times.
Would be great if a similar trigger could calculate certain playback times based on the media itself. For example: an OnPlaybackRemaining trigger could read the duration of a video and be set to begin the stinger transition out when there's 1 second remaining. This way, the OnPlaybackTime trigger wouldn't need to be set manually every time.

Unless I misunderstood, Martin said something about video formats impacting the accuracy of time remaining, so they have to use time elapsed. (Starts around 21:34)
