Apparently the problem is with Direct3D 9Ex, if you disable from Performance Options the video never freeze.
I test different video driver but the problem still remain.

I don't know what it was, but i think Martin has fixed it in the two latest releases, because statistically i should have had a freeze by now but haven't

This is an Intel Graphics Driver bug (on the 3000 or lower cards).
It is unrelated to the external output issue discussed here.
