If we're counting votes for features such as this to be added to Vmix, count me in totally. This is THE lacking feature in my opinion right now.

Has anyone played with Streamcontrol? It was originally made for use with controlling SWF overlays when streaming fighting games using Xsplit, but at it's core, all it is is a highly-customizable program that lets you create fields of certain names and outputting the values of those fields into an XML file to be consumed by a Flash SWF. Check it out here: http://farpnut.net/streamcontrol/It's really neat. By following the documentation, you can completely customize it's appearance, what fields are displayed, what values are written, how the fields are laid out on screen, etc. It's really slick.

This is interesting. I will check if I can make similar control I did with my Flash Animation Control. If streamcontrol can control flash animation in real time (stopping, playing, and reset) and if it has the ability to add color picker/mixer then this will be a very cool tool to use.

Enlighten us AmbotZ, your controller appears to be more elaborate as to what it can do compared to the simpler StreamControl, but the principle looks the same. Have you both basically done the same thing only you developed it a little further and differently to integrate better with vMix and take advantage and control of in and out animations? Or is StreamControl completely different?

@Ice
Streamcontrol as I tested it can save xml data, make your own layout/GUI, it is possible to control xml driven flash animation but it doesn't have a color picker, so you have to manually input the HEX color code somewhere by adding/pasting it on a text field. It is difficult to use for non programmers because you have to manually make your own layout/GUI before you can use it. The program as is was design for streaming gaming scores/data etc.
I am not familiar with Qt programming so I can't make a control using the same programming language. This could be fun to learn but I am very busy right now, maybe someday :) I'll stick to autohotkey GUI for now.
Regards, AmbotZ

Here is a screenshot of my updated Flash Animation Control. I added select configration file to control invividual SWF input in vMix. Configuration file that comes with SWF is loaded automatically to Flash Control. Removed RESET button because it is useless for now.

@Admin Can I ask a little favor... could you please allow web interface to add SWF input? Code:?Function=AddInput&Value=SWF|c:\animation.swf
I will try to add SWF input remotely using my Flash Control. I hope you will consider my request. Thanks in advance. Regards, AmbotZ

Looks like vMix will not support this and ignoring this thread. I guess I will have to keep the Flash animation controller for myself. This is the final design of my FLASH Animation Control. CIAO!

@watchfulone
Let us wait what vMix have to say about this, still no words from them if they are going to support Flash control or not.
I am also looking at the possibility of adding a real time "NOW PLAYING" flash overlay if they will add a log file (text file) of currently playing video. This will be a great add-on for vMix.

This looks very interesting. I was oping to use this myself. If it works for you, why is it necessary to have Martin make changes for it to work for us?

Great piece of flash however for me i have to remove and add the flash again in vMix for the update in text to show :(
Is there something i am missing - I was hope to have something else that dynamically updates the scores so when the scoring system updates the config.xml the score in the corner of my screen updates without the vMix op having to do anything!
Thanks
Keith

This is an extremely late reply to the thread but it would be nice to have this sort of feature. I guess now that vMix has the ability to luma key maybe it's not really needed as you could just use caspar now.
