Yes you will need to ensure the radius and thickness of the borders are large enough to cover the corners.
It is not able to cut off the corners for performance reasons.

If you have round corners or any shape other than a rectangle, I guess we just need to do it the old fashioned way. Create a png with a transparent cutout for the camera to sit behind.

You certainly could do it that way, but I’d think it’d be easier to use key+fill to just take the corners off.

If you like your vMix border, you can even use it to build the key+fill by putting your border on a transparent input then snapshotting that input.

Most “paint” type programs will then recognize the border and allow you to use the paint bucket “fill” tool to set the colors inside and outside of it.

I’d recommend setting the border to white & the color inside to the same, while setting the outside to black.

That way, it’ll only take off your corners instead of losing the top/bottom/sides too.

And since you designed it with your border, it’ll fit perfectly within the border.

I tested out the Key/Fill option since it'd been a while since I've done it.

It'll be a lot easier if you use something stronger than Paint that's capable of handling layers. I used the free program Paint.net.

But it still works & it only took me about 20 minutes, if that.

In the upcoming version, are you able to cut between layer inputs that have different crops and have borders remain to tween the states, or do the changing borders disappear until settled as they do in 26?
