I don't usually use the Ticker, but some recent posts had me testing and using it with 'Virtual Sets' and I can't help but notice that the scroll is not smooth.
Is this a glitch within my system or is this typically the behavior?

Hei Ice,

have you fixed this problem?

I've had a thread in the past about a little bit of choppy or jerky movements on captured cameras.
At that time, I thought that this problem is related to Adobe Flash in live stream players.

But now I tested the ticker and could also see this behavior. And even in vMix itself and not only at the receiver site in the player.
I have tried and determined that the ticker only runs smoothly when vMix is set to NTSC 30p. With no other Master Frame Rate setting I get a smooth ticker.

I only get an absolutely smooth output, if really all sources run on the exact same framerate. Even a downconversion from my canon hf g30/40 720p50 cams to 25p doesn't do the trick. What is really bad for me, because I can not adjust my cameras to 30p. Maybe a hardware-converter will help here? How other guys deal with this framerate mix?

Regards
Andreas

@ FAndreas

I somehow believe this is a hardware issue. As stated, I don't use the "Ticker" often and it should be noted that my system is aging (i7 950) but since that post in 2015, I have had to change my GPU from a GTX 470 to a GTX 670 and any time I have used or tested the "Ticker" I have not noticed the same kind of choppiness as I did back then...
Just an observation.
