We are looking to bring a couple individual channels and a couple mixed groups into vmix to allow our video person to put together a "better" mix in real time. We want to leverage Dante Virtual Sound Card to accomplish the task. The setup and routing from our Mixer is straightforward and we don't have an issue accomplishing it.

However, we are looking for advice/suggestion on a midi control surface, preferable with motorized faders, that would make this easier to manage levels visually. Ideally, there would be 8 faders, but we could make do with 4. Has anyone had success with a particular model(s) that you would recommend?

Thanks

Based on reading a number of blog posts, websites, and youtube videos we moved forward with the x-touch. Struggling a little bit at this point to get many of the features to work and to populate the scribble strips and get the motorized faders to work.

It is mentioned several times that it does work, but working through the particulars of setup and configuration to make it work. If anyone has the information to share please let me know. Even if it is just a detailed description of what works for you.
