Is it possible to have two audio interfaces? I need an 8 channel I/O, with ability for vMix to control the levels on each independent mic, so I am looking at possibly 2 of the Behringer UMC404HD as they have ASIO support. Will vMix allow me to use two of these?

I believe so, but you'll want to make sure to rename them as otherwise it will be difficult to tell them apart from the default name.

I have a UMC404HD and a UMC204HD.... I'll see if I can work it out tomorrow!

I currently have the 404 and a Alesis Multimix8fx plugged into my vMix PC, and both are recognized. The Alesis is recognized as "USB Audio CODEC" The 404 as "Behringer UMC404HD 192k". I have another device also recognized as "USB Audio CODEC" and it's not the 204, as it's not currently plugged in. I believe it to be a Behringer U-control UCA 202.

Got to it tonight.
Unfortunately, the UMC204HD is not recognized as an ASIO device like the UMC404HD, so I wasn't able to test it. I can get it to work as a single inpput, not as separate inputs like with the 404.

You could use the Tascam US-16x08. This gives 8x XLR Mic inputs on the front panel and is picked up as a multi-channel ASIO device by vMix. Also has an on-board monitor mixer which can be useful too.
