I am trying to figure out if there is a way to crop an overlay. For example if I have a lower 3rd that lifts up as a "vertical swipe". Is there a way I can crop out where it lifts vertically from. So it doesn't move across the entire screen Just lifts from where my graphics are at?

Hey, each overlay had a normal mode and then already a Picture in Picture mode, you should be able to use the PiP mode to do what you are looking to do.

Alternatively you could turn your lower third into a quick animated AVI with the animation already in place.
