Hi everybody,

vMix gives out a warning when a second stream is added besides facebook.
The warning says it´s against the FB-TOS to stream like this.

However ... I didn´t find any Facebook-TOS with that information. In fact, I don´t find any clear information about Facebook-Live.
Can you tell me where the information about the multiple stremings can be found at Facebook?

All the best, Julian!

We do it every Sunday. Easy way to do it is create the You Tube stream and Facebook stream like you normally would. Save and Close. Open back up and change the Facebook stream to custom RTMP stream and it carries over all the Facebook settings. Hit stream when your ready and you are good to go.

Is there a way to optimize this? I am using this technique to stream on Facebook/YouTube, but after a while, Facebook will become very laggy.

After a couple of weeks struggling to get both Facebook and YouTube streaming to work at the same time, we finally have a working scenario.

We follow the instructions of setting up the YouTube stream first (YouTube Live Stream Now) and then the Facebook stream (Facebook). And then we switch the Facebook stream to RTMP (Custom RTMP Server) after closing and reopening the stream.

The following week we will go into the Facebook Custom RTMP Server stream and switch it back to the "Facebook" stream, save and close, reopen stream and switch the Facebook stream back to Custom RTMP Server.

This will reset and refresh the Facebook streaming key and get it working.

Both will stream successfully now.
