i really admire this software , it reliable and has a lot of features.
i use it as playback deck for may on Air show . i desperately in need of i can directly go forward and backward inside the clip either on preview or on air . why there is not a backward feature or even -100% speed in such great software . it would be really nice if i can use my JKL just like in any NLE software . what is the hard in that???

i purchased a Contour ShuttlePro v2 controller , thinking that may i can configure it to do what i need . But , also i found that the shuttle and the jog can not be used otherwise with the instant Replay module and not for backward or reverse the clip but for speed management .

please Find any way to solve this problem as it is a very weak point for us ..

While such functionality may prove beneficial for many, especially for cuing and such, it is a feature that may be perceived as 'outside' the ordinary use of a "production switcher".

I use the video delay functions (not the instant replay) and this feature would be helpful when marking in/out points on the list of saved video delays.

+1 for me too.

What would be nice on the "show/hide playback speed" option is to have the speed variation go from + to - too. So instead of the current +1% to +400% perhaps we could have the default to 0% at the centre of the vertical scale and +1% to +200% and also -1% to -200%.

Or even as a luxury to have these min/max's and =/-'s available for customisation in settings somewhere? Then everyone maybe happy?
