When sending NDI output from vMix, the audio from multiple inputs are mixing together in the NDI output.

For example, input 1 and input 2 play with different audio in vMix. When recording these inputs into NDI receiving programs, the video is fine but the audio from both inputs are mixed together in each of the NDI streams.

It seems that vMix is sending out audio from Master to all NDI outputs, instead of attaching audio from the individual inputs to the corresponding NDI outputs.

I tried this using multiple receiving programs and it is the same in every case. I should mention that both source and receiver are running on the same computer.

Any ideas on how to solve or this a bug? Thanks!

By default vMix assigns MASTER audio for any NDI output.

There are five choices available in the Settings/Output/NDI DialogBox. MASTER, BUS A, BUS B, MA & MAB.

Perhaps passing the audio from the Input source to BUS A or BUS B maybe a solution, and routing that BUS A/B to the NDI output.

You raise a good point and I will try that.

However, I need to create ISO files, where the audio and video for each input remains isolated to that track alone. In this case, would you not be limited to creating ISO files for only two inputs: Bus A and Bus B?

Do you know why vMix defaults to including the Master audio for all NDI outputs?

Multicorder is good and I use it all the time. However, it does not record all input types and the strange audio behavior with NDI remains.
