Which Alienware model were you looking at? There are four (4) on the page. Hopefully Windows 10 Pro is an option for both.

Yeah, I just noticed that the GL703 doesn't mention Thunderbolt, which is weird because teh GL702 is the Sapphire Reference System. I'd go with the Dell that starts at $2299 and upgrade to Windows 10 Pro and 16GB RAM.

Furthermore, the new Alienware looks to have discarded Optimus in favor of G-Sync which is favorable when buying a system for vMix.
