Is it possible to control clip playback remotely via NDI with vMix? The application I am working on is a Telestrator and I'm thinking that someone might want to pause/play a clip remotely from my app whenever they wish to pause the video while telestrating. Am I on the track or is there another way this is done?

My setup so far is that I am playing back a clip in vMix and sending the output via NDI.. In my telestrator app I can view the NDI feed, and I can grab and display a frame but the clip is still playing in vMix. It seems that it might be nice if when I snap a frame in my workspace, it sends a command to vMix to pause playback and when I clear the frame, it resumes playback.

Any thoughts?

You could try setting a Play/Pause shortcut within vMix.
