I'm still testing out vMix to see if it's the best solution for me. So far I'm impressed by how much it does.

I have a background in in DJ industry, and really like the layout of a DJ Software midi controller. I have Denon MC6000MK2 that I've connected and started programming midi shortcuts.

I'd really like to send the midi signals back to light up the buttons. It's not a listed controller, but I was hoping that using the midi Send & Receive documentation in the manual I could just put in the values required to make a button light up, flash or turn off.

The activators editor let's you choose defaults for various controllers, which I'm sure just correspond to the number value that needs to be sent back. Anyway to just enter the value? All my buttons just need to be sent a trigger value of 74 for on, 75 for off, and 76 to blink.

Thanks.

Any insights yet?

Cheers & thanks,

I am just seeing you reply now. I have not had any luck with using activators to trigger the lights on my mixer :(
