I am trying to find a way to easily turn on and off audio. My idea is that when I have an audio input in a multi mix, that the audio will turn on when active, and turn off when not active. However, that is not the case as it stays on all the time, even when I am running ads in the output. So I would like to suggest that in a multimix, the audio is on when active, and off when not.

@ 321actionvideo

What do you mean by "multi mix"?
The default behaviour for any input is usually "Automatically mix audio", which means ON when active or LIVE and OFF when not (also referred to as audio follows video and indicated as a double arrow icon in the vMix Audio Mixer).
If the audio is ON all the time, then likely it is set up that way, that is, the double arrow is disabled (not green) and the speaker icon is active (green).

I guess it was the double arrows that were not active when I added. I thought it would be just like the camera and automatically be active.
