vMix on Tricaster

Hello I have a somewhat perverted question:
The Tricaster 850 is indeed based on a Windows system,
do you think you could run on it vMix,
thus also to access the inputs of the Tricaster?

You may well be able to run vMix on it, given that it's a Windows PC, but it's somewhat unlikely you'll be able to access the Tricaster input hardware (without somehow writing your own drivers to integrate it with vMix!).

vMix isn't going to see the TriCaster video/audio hardware, the drivers are written to work with the TriCaster software, not other applications.

I'm not sure if it is still going on, but there was a promotion going on to upgrade any model TriCaster (all the way back to the original TriCaster 100) to a TC1, might be another method to get current on the gear. (I don't mean to be posting sales stuff on vMix's forums, but don't want you to miss it if you weren't aware.)
