Has anyone been able to controls Sony PTZ with VISCA in V20. Its a new feature, our cameras say they support it (Sony SRG300) but when we try to change from CGI PTZ to VISCA over IP we get an error message. "Connection attempt failed because the connected party did not respond properly, ETC."

For the SRG300, you will need to install the latest firmware from the Sony web site, which enables VISCA over IP support.

Updated to 2.3 on firmware - Same issue

From memory, there may also be an option in the Sony settings to enable VISCA over IP.
Have a look around for it, and let me know if you can't find it.
