Can anyone tell me why Yuan High-Tech's UB5A0N4 capture has been removed from the Vmix list of Supported Hardware?

I used it with a laptop a year ago and I never had problems, I think it was excellent, but I was worried when I did not see it on the list of supported hardware anymore.

Hi,

The UB5A0N4 uses H264 compression for every input which can be quite CPU intensive when using more than a couple of cameras at a time.
We found customers were using these devices on low end laptops and getting frustrated by the lack of headroom on the system due to the high CPU usage
of this device.

Therefore the decision was made to only list capture cards that support uncompressed video on our web site, to ensure customers experience the lowest
possible CPU and latency.

This doesn't mean the UB5A0N4 will no longer work in vMix, just that the high CPU usage is a key consideration that caught many customers off guard, and we wanted to avoid that in the future.

Regards,

Martin
