Okay, all you smart people out there, I need some help.

I've created shortcuts for our scoreboard XAML to include timeouts by having certain keystrokes "SET TEXT" in a title to 0 dashes for no timeouts remaining, 1 dash for 1 timeout, etc. This means for football, I have 8 keys designated for timeouts (0, 1, 2, 3 timeouts per team). And when we get to basketball, that expands up to 12 keys (0-5 timesouts per team).

What I'm hoping to do is have a shortcut that TOGGLES up and down +1 or -1 like I do for score (I even have a +3 for FG and +6 for TD key). Values are a cinch. Text such as a dash or other symbol, not so much.

I'm including pics of my current X-keys setup and a scoreboard XAML screenshot.

Hi

in vMix you can create a shortcut that will trigger a +=1 3 times or 6 times in a row to get what you want

However I would suggest you drop an eye on vMixUTC which has native functions for managing titles and scores in vMix

Wasn't able to find what I'm looking for there. I already use the +=1 and -=1 functions for score and other digits. The problem I'm having is trying to use the same idea with a SYMBOL like a dash or asterisk to indicate timeouts. I could always make the timeout indicators a digit, but for asthetics, want them as dashes.

Is there a way to increase "-" to "- -" and then "- - -" etc. each time I hit ONE button? or delete a dash each time by hitting just ONE button? I'm currently using 4 buttons per team for timeouts and this is taking up valuable space on my X-keys. Trying to consolidate. Once we go to basketball season, it will only increase the number of keys needed.

Ideas anyone? Is this even possible?

There is probably another way to do it, But I would make an image with 1 bar, a 2nd with 2 bars etc -- Then use a shortcut to call them.

I do this with vMixUTC from a single dropdown (List Button).
