I am sure there is a method to do voice commands, I wonder if somehow we could use the webcaptioner to feed a data source that triggers events.
Oh and I am just putting buzzwords together as I have no idea if any of what I said is even actually possible.
Heck I am still trying to get webcaptioner to work in my environment.

Really? We have several Echo's hereabouts. They misfire on ambient sounds a lot. I'm not sure I'd want them triggering such things.

OTOH, I can see the attraction of voice control of something more distant, like a lighting controller. "Alexa, recall lighting scene X" even as you're running vMix.
