@ admin

I don't have a major problem with the current option, although I see the benefit of applying that action to a specific button.
As you know, I am still thinking about what additional 'menu' items I would like to see on the "Right Click" of a 'MultiView' input before I submit that feature request, I sure miss the easy access to the 'Title Editor' for my upstream key of mypenalty clocks.

Perhaps it should be moved to a separate new right click menu on the cog icon?

That would probably be a better idea. Thinking of it, maybe expanded to be a full quick access menu similar to the Add Input button. With selection for:
- Audio settings
- Create virtual input
- Colour adjust
- Colour key
- Position
- Multi View
- Triggers
- Tally Lights
- Advanced

Side request (which I believe have been asked for earlier) that when a Virtual Input is created that Input's settings window should be opened. I guess most users would like to prepare the new input immediately when it is created. If not, this behavior could be de/selected in the General Setting's Option tab.

Suggestions: 1) would be perfect to have the option of using entries in a single row or in two, as this has become a bit disoriented when we have small monitors. 2) The best we could do with the "Triggers" is to remove the milliseconds and convert in seconds since a limit of 30 is obsolete. 3) It is urgent to add a "Trigger" "CurrentSong" to play next in every time we use a "Overlay".

Hey, thanks Martin!!!
I just noticed you've re-introduced the "bug" on right-click of 'MultiView' inputs in vMix 16.0.0.78. Yay!
I hope it's not a bug this time and is here to stay, in fact, I still have plans to submit my feature request which was going to be a little more complex and ask to include options for each of the channels of the MultiView from 'Main' to 'Overlay 5' for quick and easy access, but I may hold off for a bit as I rejoice in having my 'Right-click' back.

One bug which was in 15 as well... when saving video delay and playback it in the end the last frame of video delay is same as firs one. I get jumpshot if I don't turn delay off before that.

Hey guys,
I'm having a trouble with Vmix 16!
It's having problem playing AVI 1080 videos! it doesn't show any video but sound. But it does show mp4 1080 movies and all 720.
Is that a bug?

If the AVI isn't showing video then you will need to install a codec for it.
Find out what the codec is for the video and make sure it is installed.

Lzrd, just posted an update (16.0.0.87) that fixes the video delay save.

Dear Members

I use softwares like Windows Journal, Microsoft OneNote, etc. When I choose "show cursor" option while adding Desktop Capture input my cursor changes to normal cursor while recording. I mean whether I choose highlighter, pen pointer, eraser or lasso selection, all of them are automatically converted in normal cursor in recording. I humbly request you to correct this feature in upcoming version of VMix.

In the snapshot-The red line shows the changed pointer & orange line shows that windows journal notepad’s blue horizontal line have faded while recording in VMix

Although the attached snapshot is of 15.0.0.88 but I have found the above problems in even version 16

Regards

I can not say if this is an actual Bug in vMix 16 16.0.0.87x64. When I import vertical photos vMix automatically rotates them either 90° clockwise or counter-clockwise. When importing horizontal photos they are displayed correctly.
Cheers!

just reporting two not really bugs but points of attention:

1 minor point: when opening the selection dropdown of the transitions on the front page to change something p.e. the duration, you have to click outside the selection box to change ot or it will do the transition. it would be more natural to close the box without transition.

2. just noticed that if you set the audio input of a camera input to seperate mono and then reduce one of the inputs to zero the audio input indicator of the input is also refuced to zero. it would be more natural to have the indicator of the input reflect the incoming audio and the indicator of the control to reflect the adjustment.

in this way you can keep a eye on the incoming audio.

i use the seperate mono now more frequently using two inputs: microphone of a speaker left and a second directional mic on the audience to capture questions. i can quickly swap the inputs by upping the audience when a question is made and then lowering the mic for the awnser through the mic.

but i want to keep an eye on the incoming audio signal from. that second mike even when turned low.

i don't want to sit around woth earphones all the time i keep a look at the indicators!

what do other users think?

greetings stefan

I updated today to vMix 16 and noticed some problems:
The preset file of vMix15 is not working right away with vMix 16:
All alphakey values were corrupt and had to be set manually to there previous values.

But a bigger problem is that the number keys are not working anymore for fading 1-9 seconds.
I used them a lot.
The number keys are also not available in shortcuts.

The audio output has a lot more latency than in vMix15 (I am using the Equalizer), I've got a serious lip sync issue now.
(streaming with FMLE). I am using the exact same settings as in vMix15.

The preset values may be mixed up due to a problem in older versions when saving
numbers in countries where , is the decimal point.

But note this is actually a fix in vMix 16 and older versions saved the preset incorrectly.

For the shortcuts, by default they are not added started with 16, but you can go to Shortcuts -> Templates
and select the default keyboard template.

Audio output is unchanged since 15 so my guess is something is configured incorrectly.
Make sure no audio delay settings are set and in Settings -> Audio make sure the device is vMix Audio

Probably not a bug of 16 only, but:

SetFullscreen keyboard shortcut to output doesnt work because you have to define an input as well as a value, the workaround I use is refreshing a web API with value only.

Håvard

The number keys are available to be set in Shortcuts by using the keys "D0" through "D9" (with "D0" being the 0 key, "D1" being the 1 key, etc).

Thanks, it's working.
I don't know why the audio was delayed so much, maybe because I restarted vMix while FMLE was still streaming.
(I am not using the build in FMLE, but FMLEcmd in a dosprompt)

I see you guys are toying with the APC40 mkII, I currently use the mkI. Wanted to throw my +1 in for mentions I have seen elsewhere asking for MIDI output support so we can set up the APC to work as a tally board! I know you guys have to be busy as heck but I just figured i'd add my input. Also a request for a reset option for clip zoom and pan settings, I currently have a few knobs set to make on the fly shot adjustments and sometimes the knobs just arnt sensitive enough to get the shot back perfectly to normal.
