Thanks: 3 times
I've noticed that many times, once I have alot of shortcuts set for a particular input, sometimes they aren't mapped to the correct input later. I usually check the "make shortcut local" for a particular preset, and I never check the "tie shortcut" to a particular number input. I was of the belief that if the input # changed, this option would keep the shortcuts tied to the # and not the particular input I want.

So I have had to go in and "edit" my shortcuts on numerous occassions, which means changing the "INPUT" back to the one I want it for. However, there doesn't appear to be a GLOBAL EDIT where I can simply select all the shortcuts I want and tie them all to a particular input. I'm having to go in and edit all of them, sometimes as many as 20-30 shortcuts.

Does anyone have any suggestion on how to remedy this? Would it be possible in an update to allow us to be able to change multiple shortcuts at one time?

Thanks,
Gary

Hi Gary,

Can you confirm you are running the latest version of vMix?
If so, when creating shortcuts are you always saving the preset again after to make sure the shortcut changes are saved as well?

With the latest update the inputs always match up in my tests, so if there is a bug we would like to fix it.

Thanks,

Martin

Martin,

Yeah. Running 18.0.0.59. And anytime I make a change to a preset, such as with shortcuts, I always save the preset. Just wish there was a way to do a global edit of multiple shortcuts where you could change the input.

Also, is there any chance that the countdown clock could be reconfigured so that when it falls below 10:00 (such as 09:48) that the 0 in the tens of minutes could be eliminated? (to read "9:48 instead of 09:48"?).

Thanks,,
Gary

I have tried to get the Timer to function that way and can not get it to work. There may be a feature request for that I seem to remember seeing in the past. It would be a great addition to the timer in my eyes.

Yeah, and I'd like to see it be able to countdown in tenths of a second once it gets under 1 minute.

Hi Gary

You can do this with vMixUTC simply by indicating m/:ss as format in timer widget.
Will display :

10:02
10:01
10:00
9:59
9:58
etc...
