What is your source ? A computer ? vMix will display the source maximized according to the aspect ratio. For example if your source is 1440x900 (16/10) this cannot be maximized to 1920x1080 (16/9). You will have transparent borders on each sides.

You can change the aspect ratio setting in your NDI input properties (set it to widescreen) but your image will be distorted.
