What in premiere pro would be the best and CPU easier codec to use when playing video files in vmix? 1920x1080 and what format ? I have tried many and some do slow the program down much,,,,,thanks

So what have you tried that did not work well? Typically a .MP4 works well.

BTW, You'll get very good results here on the forum when you use a Subject that is specific to your problem. :)

Tom is right MP4 should work.

If you are having issues- MPEG2 is lighter on the CPU.

Help file recommends mpeg2 and .ts files I found that good for CPU and editing later too. Bonus is they are one of the formats that will work if vmix stops unexpectedly.

Me thinks he wants to produce files to play in vMix, and not that he is looking for a recording format in vMix.

Yes a codec for videos that are being played in vmix,,,,never had good luck with mpeg files ,I currently use h264 files ,and they are good ,but now there is h265,does that work yet ...thanks
