I have a new link for CasparCG "Caspar Media Playback" (edit-3-31)
This is an awesome client for trying out what CasperCG can do. Some pieces don't work quite right, But for those that want to get started it is very cool. It will give a glimpse of the real power of the CasperCG engine.

Caspar Media Playback

Requirements to run this client
1. DotNet 4.5 or higher https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/download/details.aspx?id=42642
2. Flash player activex https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/download/details.aspx?id=42642

3. VLC 32bit version You must use this version.

4. After you install and run it. Select the "Copy Example Templates" and the "Copy Example Media" buttons.

5. Start to explore.

Thanks Kane!
Which is/are those dll's? If it's Processing.AirSend.x86.dll it is clearly not in my Casparcg package (the downloads of Server and Client folders).
Also, does the AirSend Updater report if any dll's are found? It does not on my PCs, just terminates without any kind of confirmation of success or not.

CasparCG Server 2.0.7
Stable and production-ready (Updated: 2014-12-11, 143 MB)
Windows 7 32-bit/64-bit

The CasparCG Server software is used to play out and record video, audio and graphics.

Additional downloads:
Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 or later (required)
Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (required)
◦For Flash template playback you need to install Flash Player 11.8.800.94 (optional)
◦For NewTek TriCaster iVGA output you need to install the NewTek driver (optional)

CasparCG Server frontend

CasparCG Client 2.0.8
Windows XP or later / Mac OS X 10.5 or later / Ubuntu 14.04 LTS 64-bit. (Updated: 2015-10-03, 26–53 MB)

The CasparCG Client software is used to control the playback/recording with one or several CasparCG Servers.

Install the AirSend (Newtek Driver) from above first, then run the updater = magic :-)

Stevespaw,

I installed the client you gave us the link of. It was a bit overwhelming and somewhat chaotic layout, but I Will Look into it tomorrow.

Thank you!

The 'NewTek Video Send' installer puts it files in 'C:\Windows\system32' on 32-bit systems or 'C:\Windows\SysWOW64' folder on 64-bit systems. After you run the AirSend Updater you will find the new Processing.AirSend.x86.dll in the same location and the previous file with 'OLD' added to its name.

Steve, that little line revealed the secret sauce. Unfortunately it was not in TVlason's otherwise excellent Youtube guide.

It turns out the name of the NewTek driver's installation kit is "NewTek Network Video Send.exe", and what it install is the AirSend stuff I did not have. In other words, I was fooled by a little bit of name confusion. Of course I then had to run the "NewTek NDI AirSend Updater.exe" which does what Kane said above (although without the updater reporting if it did anything or not).

So, in other words I got Casparcg working. Now I will look into why NewBlueFX's Titler Pro Live 2 does not show up as an NDI source for me, but that's another topic.

Thank you all for helping out!

Richard, it looks like you have to have the Titler Pro Live 2 Ultimate edition to get the NDI output. I have downloaded both the standard version and the Advanced and both do not include NDI.

Well, nahumf reported earlier that it worked not using the Ultimate (which is not released yet). I asked, nahumf for details, still no answer...

What do you mean by "device> NDI"? Is there a setting somewhere for choosing output device?

Hmm, because I didn't now how the program could be started, I went to my Program Files folder and started the program from there. (C:\Program Files\NewBlueFX\TitlerLive\TitlerLiveStandalone

Could you try that for me?

Doesn't help. I'll just ask NewBlueFx's support. I'll be back when I know more.
Thanks.
